Well Canada was a success! We spent one night in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side at the Hilton in a room with a falls view. We went to Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse – which was absolutely AMAZING- the casino, and we also went on a tour behind the falls, so we were actually underneath/behind Niagara Falls! Of course I took some pictures 🙂
Kevin and I actually went and visited a quilt shop in New York (for homework purposes), and it was pretty interesting. I did end up finishing my quilt and choosing a design from last week and here it is! It’s not a completely finished quilt, it still needs batting and a back, but that’s for later. We’re starting on applique blocks now and I’m doing a floral theme so next week, depending on how far along I am, I’ll post pictures.
Spring is here and we’re packing up all of our winter boots but it’s still a bit too chilly for flip flops. Here’s some of my favorite flats until the weather gets warmer and you can whip out the flip flops and sandals again. 🙂
There are some basic colors that are a staple for your wardrobe like brown, black, and taupe, but it’s also nice to have some colorful statement flats.
We actually look these photos after practice and this shirt was super wrinkly from being in my backpack. I had this genius idea to turn the heat in my car on max. I laid the shirt on top of the vents and WA-LA! Wrinkle free! 🙂 so if you’re ever in a rush and need to get some wrinkles out…. just use your car vents. 😉
